Reading the articles I also found out that it sure wasn’t Andrew coming to his senses and giving up his location to the authorities, it was an American missionary who gave the tip that found Andrew and Thor in Guatemala.  That is absolutely amazing!!!   God works in mysterious ways.  Thank you missionary, our hero and thank God.  The power of the internet, the power of the people, unbelievable.   Turns out people can not hide, even in Guatemala (if anyone is planning hiding anytime soon, you need a better plan).

Anyway, I was happy when I heard that Andrew could possibly have gone to South America, because it is a lot harder for a Chinese looking guy to hide there than in say China….

So now, I have to comment on the bad things Andrew is spreading about Mia, because I have seen it all.   It is possible that there might be SOME truth to SOME of what he is saying as there is always two side to every story….  But….

My conclusion as a person that does not know Mia from before, based on “he said she said” :

Mia is not perfect.  But are you??   Am I??

Most of Andrew’s “proof” of Mia being an unfit mother are “old” therefore I am sure all of the “dirt” on Mia he posted online were displayed in court.  And the court granted full custody to Mia, despite tattoos and being a person who is proven to buy alcohol (receipts do NOT prove someone to be an alcoholic).

Oh and the last kicker in Andrews argument:

YOU made yourself a criminal dude, a wanted person, involved your son in a crime, took him to a potentially dangerous country on a dangerous drive through countries who are not know for being safe.  And you say you are concerned for your sons safety with Mia????  I am frankly concerned for his safety with YOU, because YOU have proven yourself to endanger you son.

Between Andrew and Mia:  I vote Mia.

Between Sweden and Guatemala:  I vote Sweden.

Thor is currently being held in an orphanage there.  From what I understand the Guatemalan courts won’t accept Mia’s American court documents proving that she is the custodian of Thor.   God bless her!  Now another custody battle will be tried in Guatemalan court.  When will this nightmare end?  Hopefully soon…..

I  just want to thank God and thank you Andrew for having kept Thor out of serious harm the last two months.

I know nothing of the details of how Thor was found.  But maybe Andrew came to his senses and realized his son Thor deserved a win-win-win?????

I only wish for this innocent little boy to live in peace and harmony.  I hope the custody case will be swift so that Thor can start a normal life again soon.

I am writing to you you here in hope that you are able to access the Internet where ever you may be in the world and that you might read this blog.

I always believe in win-win solutions.

Right now Andrew, you are in a lose-lose-lose situation.  When Mia got custody and the move away order then that was a lose-win-lose situation.

Let me explain.  When Mia got custody it was a “win” for her considering she would be able to go back home to her country, however it was loss for you because you wold not be able to see your son Thor very often.  I also believe it was a loss for Thor as he would not be able to see his father very often, and I believe that fathers should be a part of their childs life.  Win-lose-lose!

Now let me explain what I mean by lose-lose-lose.  Right now Mia has a loss, because she is facing having to live without ever seeing her son (and as a mother my self, that is a really BIG loss).  You are also at a loss in this situation because you have had to give up your life, your family, and your friends for a life on the run.

But the biggest loss of all is Thor’s, the innocent little boy in this whole mess.  The boy who never asked to be in the middle of a situation like this.  A little boy who I am sure loves his dad, because that is what babies do.  A little boy who at this stage of his life is in critical need of his mother.  What kind of childhood will he have not knowing his mother?  What kind of father will you be able to be for him when you always have to be scared of being caught?  What will you tell him when he gets old enough to ask for his mother?  Will you tell him the truth?  One day Thor will find out regardless.  And you don’t want to be that person who deprived him of having a mother.  Your son might one day hate you for that.  As a parent myself, I realize that you might have left with Thor in the heat of the moment, but that in your heart, you really wants what is best for your son; even at the cost of your own happiness (at least that is how I feel as a mother).

So now the good news!  Let me explain what needs to happen to turn this situation to a win-win-win.

I am sure if you bring Thor back, Mia would be willing to renegotiate her moving to Sweden, I am sure she would be willing to live anywhere, even on the moon, if it meant she would be able to have her son back.  So that would be a win for Mia.  It would be a win for you too, because you could come back to your life and you would be able to see Thor.  I am sure we can find a way to negotiate with Sheriff’s Department to withdraw the arrest order if you where willing to come back with Thor.  It could be so easy.

And of course it would be a win for Thor on so many levels.  He would have his mother, his father, a normal life and a normal childhood.  He would have relatives.  He would have lots of people to love him.  And he would know that his father once took him away because he loved him so much, but he would also know that his father brought him back because in the end his father is a good man, an honest man, a man a little boy can look up to.

Please Andrew, make this a win-win-win.  You are the only one who can do that.  If you are willing, I promise you, on my own soul, I will do everything in my power to negotiate a win for you as well.   It is not too late yet!!!!!!!  It is not too late.  You can reach me on h e g e “at” a l – a l i . o r g     Please, I am begging you think of your son.

If there is one living woman who I think can perform miracles with her TV show it is Oprah.  Her show reaches millions of people around the globe everyday.  That time she promised $100 000 for tips to find and arrest child predators from the FBI most wanted list, so many nasty guys in the strangest places was found.  If we only could get Oprah to help us bring baby Thor back.

Amongst the many lessons I have learned from Oprah here are two I’m currently working on:

- dream a bigger dream…  Right no my dream is that Thor comes back.

- visualize what you want to happen and the Universe will make it happen.  I am visualizing Thor giggling in his mother’s arms while I am on my way down with my husband and daughter from the bay area to meet them and celebrate with the rest of the Mom detectives Thor’s homecoming.
