Helping someone in need, is like thanking the Universe for your own blessings.

When I first heard about Thor being abducted by his father, I instantly felt that I had to help. I felt that I had many things in common with Mia; we are both Scandinavian, live in the US, have same age babies and married men outside our own culture. One huge difference between me and Mia though, is that she is currently going through a devastating nightmare by having her baby boy abducted by the man she once loved.

Anyway, not helping was not an option. I could have been Mia, I could have been alone in a country far away, someone could have taken my baby, I could have been broke from a custody battle (except for that my husband is great and I am not planning to get rid of him anytime soon). Bottom line is: You never know when disaster strikes your family and you better hope there would be people out there willing to stretch out a helping hand.

So are you like me, lucky to have peace in your own life and your family safe from harm; show the world that you get it; show that you realize that you are lucky enough to be able to help.

Helping someone in need is like thanking the Universe for your own blessings.
